I compete in Endurance Racing and in 2000, my horse Aaristocat, started to develop problems with his lungs.  All horses require that their lungs function perfectly to compete successfully.  I had a veterinarian check him as he was coughing whenever I asked him to trot.  We did a scope on his lungs and found a great deal of white pus.  They sent me home to await the results of the analysis of the pus.  At the same time, I heard about Wendy Gower and her holistic herbs.  I contacted Wendy and obtained the herbs, F1L and started Aaristocat on them immediately.  Within a week I heard from the vet that there was a problem with the scope and they needed to do another test.  The second test was performed two weeks after I started Aaristocat on F1L.  When they did the scope they could not find any infection in his lungs.  The vet jokingly asked me if I brought a different horse with me.  I told the vet about the herbs I was giving Aaristocat.  He sent me home and said to continue with them as they had fixed the problem.  I have kept Aaristocat on a maintenance level of F1L and have never had a problem with his lungs again.  I have recommended the herbs to numerous other people who have had great results as well.

In 2003, I purchased a light infuser from Wendy Gower.  This type of light promotes healing in damaged tissue.  Prior to this purchase, I had always hired a massage therapist who also used light therapy on Aaristocat.  Shortly after the light infuser, Aaristocat was kicked in the field.  When I found him his leg was very hot and swollen.  I put the light on blue and placed it on his leg.  Within 10 minutes I could see that some of the swelling had come out of the leg.  An hour after I had used the light all of the swelling was out of the leg.  I continued to use the lights for several days and the injury healed very quickly and I did not miss any competitions due to the injury.  I still use a massage therapist but not as regular as I had when I did not have the infuser.  I use the light on a regular basis to assist with sore muscles.  I find that the light helps a great deal with sore muscles in Aaristocat’s back.

Endurance racing is a very demanding sport.  Since I first started Aaristocat on Wendy’s products he has gone on to race in numerous 100 mile races.  He has improved his performance to a level where we have competed in two Pan American Championships.  The first one was in 2001 where it was held in Vermont.  The terrain consisted mostly of hills, rock and hard pounding roads.  At the end of this very challenging ride, I was impressed with the amount of energy that Aaristocat still had considering this was the toughest competition he had ever been in.  In 2003 we once again were able to represent Canada East in the Pan American Championships.  These were held in the town of Trout Lake, Washington State.  Unfortunately at the 61- mile mark, Aaristocat was withdrawn from the competition due to an electrolyte imbalance.  We did go on and finish several other rides in 2003 with great results.  I am looking forward to competing with Aaristocat in 2004.  Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to represent Canada East once again in the 2005 Pan American Championships.

Thanks to Wendy and her products I believe that I have been able to keep Aaristocat competing at the international level.  Wendy is always there with advice and truly wants to help your animals.  Everything Wendy does is to benefit the animals and not herself.

Thanks for all of your help.
